AttrMenu is a shell extension for Windows allowing to directly access a file's attributes from its context menu (opened when right clicking on the filename with the right mouse button). It's much easier this way to access a file attributes than using the Properties dialog box.

Four commands are added to the context menu of any file:
· Toggle Archive Attribute
· Toggle Read-only Attribute
· Toggle Hidden Attribute
· Toggle System Attribute

These commands can be accessed from the "Attributes" popup menu appearing in the file's context menu.

When the corresponding attribute is set, the corresponding menu item is
checked. To change the state of an attribute merely select the command
relative to that attribute.

This extension is not a definitive solution to the problem explained above. However, until we find a more elegant one, AttrMenu will do the job. At least you'll be able to quickly display the state of a single file's attributes.
